A federal agency might allow the Seminoles Tribe of Florida to have Las Vegas-style machines in their casinos, even if the state doesn’t allow it. The Department of Interior has proposed 28 procedure pages indicating how to administrate the slot machines. The agency said that it could have a list of regulations towards the end of November if the tribe doesn’t reach an agreement with the state.
The Seminoles asked the Department of Interior, in charge of the supervision of Indian affaires, to intervene after the tribe and the governor didn’t reach and agreement.
