There has been made a study in Argentina, in the province of Buenos Aires, that reveals the fact that 60% of the people who go to the centers asking for help because of gambling problems, are men.

About the games that tend to cause more addiction, there are, in the first place, slot machines with a 51 per cent, followed by the traditional and very popular game of the roulette with a 20 per cent.

In relation to the ages of the gamblers, those people who suffer more from this addiction are those who are 41 to 50 years old with a 32 per cent. Although there has been noticed a worrying 21 per cent of people from 31 to 40 years old.

Finally, it was concluded that pathological gaming is a problem that has increased lately and has caused many serious problems, it is supposed to be one of the most important assistance challenges nowadays.
