Authorities from the state of Coahuila, in Mexico, have put a very tough fight against illegality. That is why they have attacked strongly piracy, taking thousands of compact discs. They have also taken the fight into the gambling market, taking some slot machines that were functioning without the corresponding permissions.

During the first trimester of 2007, several seizures were carried out. That is why it was necessary to find the time and place to destroy everything that had been seized during the mentioned period.

Several representatives of the different police corporations were part of this moment that took place in the old Conventions Center. There, 104,544 music discs were destroyed, as well as 101,202 movies that were thrown under the tiers of a tractor that was in charge of the destruction.

Then, with the help of mallets and picks, they proceeded to the destruction of 16 slot machines that did not have the necessary permissions and that had been seized in different operations in several municipalities.
